This 18’ x 24’ mural was commissioned by American Legion Post 67, the city of Versailles, and the veterans featured as the faces in the mural.

The mural is located on the alley wall of the American Legion in Versailles, KY.

On October 4, 2023, less than a month before the dedication on Veterans Day, Stephen fell from a ladder and crushed the wrist on his painting hand.

Fortunately, Stephen was able to use his right hand, for the first time to come to the rescue and all seven portraits were painted with his right hand.
