   Stephen Sawyer is passionate about creating Christian Art that reflects the life and teachings of Jesus. These paintings show Jesus of Nazareth as divine and human, laughing, fearless, merciful, powerful, and full of God's love and joy.

"Following Jesus is about sharing his faith and trust in God as well as mankind. While we honor the glorified and risen Christ, let's always remember how important the Son of Man was and is. It was God as a man that taught us to laugh and love, to forgive and be merciful, to be patient and long suffering. And Jesus did all of this and more, not just with his words but most importantly by manifesting those same truths by living them and proving their beauty, goodness and power."

   Stephen brings these facets of Jesus to life not only as a contemporary Christian art but also as an author and public speaker.

In 2004, Stephen created The International Christian Art Competition, the ICAC. This active ministry is serving and encouraging Christian artists from around the world. In 2008, Rick and Carla Tocquigny of "Artbeat of America" partnered with Stephen and have become the first sponsors outside of ART for GOD. Their enthusiasm and expertise as licensing agents for artists has made them a most welcome addition to the ICAC.

   We are based in Versailles, Kentucky and have a Christian Art Gallery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee as well as dozens of store in America and Canada that sell Stephen s work.

Stephen travels around the U.S. bringing his message to Christian conferences like Ichthus in Wilmore, Kentucky and Creation East in Mt. Union, Pennsylvania.

   Stephen is a nationally recognized portrait artist who chose Jesus of Nazareth as his primary subject. His spiritual art honors and reflects the life and teachings of Jesus in a unique and powerful way. Whether it shows Jesus as a boxer, Jesus with a tattoo, Jesus and the junkie, it is the same loving God who has unlimited merciful love for all of humanity.
